You Are My ‘Why’
I’ve always loved taking photos, long husband bought me my first camera. There’s just something about getting to capture memories and turn them into at that just fills my soul.
It’s been a year and half since I started Angie’s Perspective and I love that that feeling has never gone away. I get excited every time I meet a new family. I love getting to know them and finding ways to make their photo session extra special— finding ways to exceed their expectations.
I love getting to make people feel beautiful when they don’t particularly see it. And not just feel beautiful, I get to SHOW them that they’re beautiful. I help mom finally get a picture where she’s in the frame and it’s NOT a selfie. I get to show couples how beautiful their connection is from the outside. I get to help parents of preemies and other medical kids celebrate the hard road their babies have traveled and overcome. And I make so many new friends along the way- I seriously want to send most of my clients a friend request and be their new BFF because they’re all so amazing.
I absolutely love what I do. Especially because I’ve been the mom who’s never in the frame. I’ve been the mom with a medical baby, realizing the value of every single moment and wanting it captured because even the moments with my typical kids go by way too fast. I’ve been the wife who wanted to feel beautiful in her wedding photos. And I’ve been the daughter who realized she had no good pictures of her and her father together after he passed.
I am thrilled and honored to get to do this job that doesn’t even feel like a job. 2020 may have thrown us off track a little (um, a lot) but I will never stop being there for you guys.
